Hello! My name is Ajay Karvey, and I am from Mumbai (Maharashtra), India. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I grew up in Mumbai, but my hometown is Nagpur (also in Maharashtra). All my primary, secondary, graduation, and master's degrees were done in Mumbai. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked in my home country, India, in the field of Logistics and Warehousing. I have a major interest in setting up my own business in the future, and besides that, I love music, travel, and sports.
Why did you decide to study abroad?

I decided to study abroad because I wanted to gain international experience at a university abroad – experience the culture, the people, and the traditions and values they followed.
What were your concerns about studying abroad?
There were some concerns regarding managing finances, safety and coping with the atmosphere abroad, but once I became familiar, it was easy to adapt to the kind of environment.
How did you come across Edvoy and how did it help you?
I came across Edvoy through Instagram. From the time of my application (checking whether I qualified for education abroad based on my English test and university shortlist) until the time I landed, it was a totally mind-blowing experience, and all the credit goes to Ms. Selvi Wilson, who made my application smooth and easy.
Selvi’s guidance and services were up to the mark and very satisfactory. I received scholarships from the university itself, and I would definitely recommend Edvoy to other students planning to study internationally.

PS: Ms. Selvi Wilson is a rockstar and the perfect mentor to guide students pursuing education abroad.
I highly recommend Edvoy to anyone considering studying abroad, especially because of the personalised support and expertise they offer. Kiran and the Edvoy team truly made the entire process seamless and stress-free, and I’m incredibly grateful for their help.

What reasons led you to choose MSc Logistics in Supply Chain Management at the University of Chester?
I guess the only option for me, as far as my background of education and work experience was concerned, and in terms of familiarity, was this particular course – MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
How is life as an international student in the UK?
Life is somewhat balanced, as finding part-time work can be challenging. However, plenty of job opportunities are available, though competition is high. The student community plays a role, but only for those who have the time to get involved.
What are your plans after graduation?
My plan after graduation is to work and earn, as well as pursue other activities, and travel as much as I can.
Any advice or tips for other students who want to study abroad?

Yes, if you have the funds or can arrange money through a bank loan, friends, or family, then take the risk, study abroad, and gain the overall challenging experience.
