Two or three bedrooms are available within suite-style housing, in addition to a shared bathroom. Apartment-style living has between one and three bedrooms within their apartments, including a full kitchen, private bathroom, and living room. Off-campus housing options are also appealing to many students as they provide more freedom, and the University provides a list of approved options so students can be assured of the quality of the accommodation.

Henniker is the institution's main campus, although the Manchester campus is just 30 minutes outside, so activities can be enjoyed across both campuses. Campus life at New England College is known for being eventful. There are 20+ NCAA III sports teams, a range of student clubs covering all interests, from Design INK to the Environmental Action Committee, and opportunities to get involved with the WNEC 91.7 FM student radio station or The New Englander student newspaper. The Henniker campus houses Pats Peak, with free winter sports available.
