Nipissing University is a public higher education establishment in Ontario, Canada. Since becoming an independent university in 1992, Nipissing has served the Northern Ontario community. Nipissing University is located in Northbay, Ontario. The campus has over 20km of hiking trails and is surrounded by nature. You can enjoy North Bay’s beautiful Duchesnay Falls which is a short hike away.

Other points of Interest near the campus are Lake Nipissing, Laurier Woods Conservation Area, North Bay Heritage Railway and Carousel, Discovery North Bay Museum, and Capitol Centre. The bus/train station and airport are only 15 minutes from the campus.

The City of North Bay, Ontario, is also called the “Gateway to the North”. The city is located between Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake. It is a 3-hour drive from Ottawa or Toronto. The city also offers numerous outdoor activities, such as downhill skiing, and urban bike/ trail systems.
