Queens College is a public college in the Queens Borough of New York City. Founded in 1937, it is part of the City University of New York system and its 80-acre campus is primarily located in Flushing, Queens.

The campus is scenic, with a view of the Empire State Building. Over 100 student clubs on campus are available to join, reflecting the variety of personalities enrolled at the college. Cultural clubs such as Asian Students In Action or passion-focused clubs such as the Queens College New Music Group are evidence of the variety of student clubs. Both club and intramural sports are a big part of campus life at this college, both as a spectator and participant.

Queens is one of the safest boroughs in NYC. Due to its New York location, students can see many historical sights and tourist attractions while studying here. Major NYC area airports, JFK International and LaGuardia, are located here. The nearby Flushing Meadows Park is home to the US Open tennis tournament and the New York Mets baseball team.
