Library
Temple University’s Charles Library offers state-of-the-art resources and learning spaces, multipurpose rooms, and a cafe. The Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio within the library is a creative space for digital research and projects, offering you tools for 3D printing, virtual reality, and much more.
Sports
At Temple, you can choose to join over 30 sports clubs and several varsity athletic teams, 18 of which compete at the Division 1 level. These include the sports teams in basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, field hockey, gymnastics, rowing, track and field, and volleyball.
Laboratory
TU houses state-of-the-art laboratories that support research and hands-on learning. Key lab facilities include the Innovation Lab and Engineering Research Laboratories, the Science Education and Research Centre (SERC), the Health Sciences Labs, and many more.
Cafeteria
TU offers a variety of cafe options. At Morgan Hall North, you’ll find the largest dining hall on campus with popular eateries. The most popular places to eat at the campus include the Esposito Dining Centre at Johnson and Hardwick Halls, and the Howard Gittis Student Centre Food Court, among many others.
Campuses
Temple’s main campus is in North Philadelphia, filled with coffee shops, restaurants, and green spaces. The campus is only a short subway ride away from downtown Philadelphia.
Philadelphia is home to world-renowned museums, libraries, and hundreds of parks. With buses, a subway, and a regional rail line, you can easily visit the city’s neighbourhoods. Many bus routes have stops directly at the campus. A few popular places to explore are the cobblestone streets of Old City, Rittenhouse Square, Reading Terminal Market, and Fishtown.
