Sports
The University of Scranton offers you various athletic and recreational facilities. These include facilities like the Byron Recreation Complex, where you’ll find multi-purpose courts, a six-lane pool, racquetball courts, a dance/aerobics room, and a fitness centre. You’ll also find separate fields for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey.
Laboratory
As a student at Scranton, you’ll have access to the Loyola Science Centre. This facility features modern laboratories, classrooms, and research spaces.

You can get freshly prepared meals at the Fresh Food Company, on the third floor of the DeNaples Centre. You can also grab quick bites and beverages at the Scranton Market, a 24/7 self-service market situated on the first floor of the Weinberg Memorial Library.

When you’re on campus, you’ll be at the heart of downtown Scranton. It is strategically located near major highways and public transportation, making it easy for you to explore the surrounding region. The campus is about a 10-minute walk from the Lackawanna Transit Centre, which gives you access to local buses and regional bus lines. Some popular spots you can visit nearby include the Steamtown National Historic Site, the Scranton Cultural Centre, Nay Aug Park, and the Electric City Trolley Museum.
