Trine University was initially named the Tri-State Normal College and was established in 1884. In 2008 the university’s name was changed to Trine to honour its trustees, Dr Ralph Trine and Dr Sheri Trine. With over 135 years of experience providing stellar education to students, the university offers accredited courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently, the university is home to over 4,646 students and has a graduate employment rate of 99.4%.
International students can choose from a range of living options at Trine University. Traditional residence halls, the campus village and apartments are all viable living options at this campus university. More than 10 options are available.
Homestay arrangements are also popular with international students studying at the university. A local host family lets the students stay with them to immerse themselves in the local culture and improve their grasp of the English language. International students must arrange this individually with reputable host families.
