PhD Podiatry
The foot and lower limb research that we undertake at the University of Brighton delivers evidence-based advances to knowledge and clinical practice in podiatry.
Drawing also on wider healthcare and medical research, we are able to offer a progressive programme of research which shapes clinical services and ultimately, enhances quality of life for our patients. Our interdisciplinary nature is one of our strengths and allows us to draw on a breadth of expertise to ensure our research portfolio delivers innovation and impact.
From exploring the growth and development of the paediatric foot, to the epidemiology and clinical manifestations of foot complaints in inflammatory arthritis and the development of new bioengineered approaches to wound care, we are proud of our staff and PhD students who are at the forefront of international advances in podiatry.
