Campus Life

There are seventeen student halls of residence, each named after famous scientists and engineers. Some are exclusively for undergraduates and postgraduates. There is also a range of self-catered and catered options, as well as halls both on and off campus.

The university's facilities include lecture theatres, laboratories, a recently refurbished library, an arts centre, two theatres, a conference centre, restaurants, shops and a health centre.

Student life

The university's Students' Union offers a range of clubs and societies, retail and entertainment. It also offers academic support and advice.

There are 56 different sports clubs, over 80 societies and 45 community-based projects. The Loughborough Students' RAG have raised over £1 million for local, national and international charities in each of the last eight years.

Loughborough is itself a vibrant and welcoming city, with a range of clubs, bars, restaurants and attractions.
