MS Statistics
Applied Mathematics and Statistics focuses on the study and development of mathematical disciplines. These disciplines are then applied to present real-world problems. Students have opportunities to perform research in the assorted branches of modern applied mathematics, such as: Data-Driven Analysis, Financial Mathematics, Fluid Mechanics, Mathematical Biology, Nonlinear Dynamical Systems, Scientific Computing, and Statistics.
The MS in Statistics has been developed for students interested in becoming practitioners of statistics, who are trained in statistical methodology.
