The New York Film Academy is an accredited higher education facility specialising in acting, filmmaking, broadcast and more. Currently, the academy has a campus in New York. But it also has locations US-wide in Los Angeles, Florida, and Harvard University.

The Film Academy was founded in 1992 by Jerry Sherlock to provide affordable tuition to potential film and acting students. Now, the Academy now provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses for over 1,000 students that provide hands-on, practical learning experiences. In recent years, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety recognised the facility for excellence in film education.
