BA (Hons) Business Management and Marketing
Marketing is a dynamic and exciting industry, and plays a vital role in the success of any business. On this course, you’ll gain an understanding of marketing theories and how to apply them, as well as the employability skills needed to boost your career in marketing. You’ll gain a broad based understanding of business, before specialising in marketing. The course will encourage you to understand and apply marketing theories and techniques in a variety of roles and contexts, placing the customer at the heart of all business activity. 95% of BA (Hons) Business Management and Marketing full-time students would recommend studying at NTU (National Student Survey 2020). The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), providing you with one exemption from a core module towards the CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing. The CIM is the key professional body for Marketing and is highly regarded by employers. During your second year you will have a variety of unique opportunities to get involved in such as studying abroad, developing your own enterprise or undertaking an internship. You'll also have the opportunity to take part in business challenges, volunteer opportunities and guest lectures from business leaders throughout your degree. Our BA (Hons) Business Management Joint Honours courses are all built on a common first year of study, which means you have the option to transfer to a different Joint Honours course after the first year.Our BA (Hons) Business Management Joint Honours courses have Dual Award status with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
