Sacred Heart University is a higher-education establishment located in Fairfield, Connecticut, just 55 miles north of New York City. The campus was founded in 1963 with just 200 students. Today, the university runs various program-based courses at undergraduate, graduate and doctorate levels for around 9,000 students.

 The closest town to Sacred Heart is Fairfield - a small community of just over 59,000 residents.

Further afield, around 60 miles away, is New York City. Boston is also 150 miles from Sacred Hearts. Both cities are reachable from campus for day trips or short stays in between studies.
