Saint Louis University is a private Jesuit university based in St Louis, Missouri, with another campus in Madrid, Spain. It was founded in 1818 as the Saint Louis Academy, making it the second-oldest Jesuit university in the United States and it gained its current name in 1832. It has around 13,000 students including international students from more than 80 countries around the world.

It boasts 15 graduate and undergraduate programs ranked among the top 50 in the country by US News & World Report.
