Highlights
South Seattle College was founded in 1969 in West Seattle, Washington. It is a part of the network of Seattle colleges in the Seattle college district: North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, and South Seattle College. Students can complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree program and get a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
Around 500 international students represent approximately 50 countries on campus at South Seattle College. The College empowers students to be able to train for rewarding careers in a variety of professional/technical programs.
Students are encouraged to pursue a homestay option to fully immerse themselves in local American culture via the hospitality of a trusted local family. It also helps to improve a student's English language skills. The Studios on Broadway provide on-campus accommodation for international students and shared housing for nearly 80 students. Some students rent privately with friends or family as the campus is convenient for commuting.

The South Seattle College Library is a luxurious facility offering over 60,000 books, periodicals, and electronic resources. Services include research assistance, computer access, and study spaces. A Learning Centre also provides free tutoring and academic support to all South Seattle College students. The student-centered approach empowers students with one-on-one tutoring, study groups and workshops.
The Student Centre has a cafeteria, lounge areas, meeting rooms, a game room, and a student government office.
