The University of the Pacific is a private Methodist-affiliated university with its main campus in Stockton, California, and graduate campuses in San Francisco and Sacramento. Founded in 1851, it is the oldest chartered University in California.

Over 6000 students have enrolled at the University of the Pacific annually, with around 470 international students making up the student body.
