Emirates’ Student Discount Program
Whether you’re planning a study abroad, a term break getaway, or simply itching to discover new destinations, Emirates’ student discount can help get you there.
Discount Highlights:
From now through March 31st, 2025, qualifying students can save up to 10% on flights in economy and business classes that go to more than 250 locations across the Emirates extensive network.
Details of the Discount:
- Economy Class: Up to 10% off
- Business Class: Up to 5% off (excluding taxes and surcharges)
- Additional Baggage Allowance : An extra baggage allowance of either 22 lbs (10 kg) or one additional piece depending on the travel class (not applicable for flights going to and coming from Canada and US).
- Flexible Booking Options: Free date change for Flex and Flex Plus fares; $50 change fee for Saver fares.
Eligibility Requirements
Students taking advantage of this offer must:
- Be between the ages of 16 & 31
- Be full-time students (part-time students do not qualify)
- Possess a valid student ID or acceptance letter from accredited institutions
A discount is awarded to / applicable for one student for every booking and cannot be applied on purchased tickets.
How to Book Your Discounted Flight
Step 1: Search for Your Flight - Go to the Emirates website or make use of their mobile app, type in your trip details including departure city, destination, dates and class. Remember that only a single-passenger student discount is valid.
Step 2: Use the Student Promo Code - In the “Promotional offers” section provide your code "STUDENT" to activate your discount. It’s advisable you book early as rates are subject to availability.
Step 3: Choose Your Flight - After activating the promo code, you will see available flights. Proceed to the passenger details page after selecting one that suits your schedule.
Step 4: Provide Your Information - Ensure passport matching personal details are entered. If you belong in Emirates Skywards or any partner frequent flyer program, add in your membership number so that you can earn points with them when on air travel.
Step 5: Complete Your Payment - Fill out e-ticketing information for the payment process. An email will be sent shortly stating that it’s been done together with an itinerary. It is important to read through terms and conditions provided for this booking including cancellation as well as amendment policies
Step 6: Confirming Your Studies - It is therefore important that you provide proof that indicates that you are a student at the airport. No-verification of student status will lead to nullification of discount and a need to purchase another ticket at the present rate.
