Sample 1:

Describe a party that you enjoyed.

  • What party recently did you enjoy the most?
  • Whose party was it?
  • Where is the location of the party?
  • Who are all attending the party?

Recently, I enjoyed my younger brother’s birthday party. His birthday date is so special, as everyone in the world would celebrate this day. It falls on the 1st of January, right on New Year. However, we celebrated his birthday at our home with around 50 members, including parents, friends, neighbours, siblings, cousins and grandparents.

They enjoyed a pleasant environment with delicious food, soft drinks, and snacks. I surprised him with a special party and precious gifts. Before he woke up, we decorated the home beautifully with balloons and decoration materials. I created birthday banners for my brother. When he saw these decorations and greeting charts, he was so excited and surprised.

We bought a special frosted cake for my brother. When it was time to cut the cake, everyone joined and sang a birthday song for him. Everyone wished him a prosperous, happiest birthday and a long life. He felt blessed and happy. After that, we planned some playful fun games such as passing the parcel, treasure, and musical chairs. Further, I had many happy moments through his birthday party.

In the evening, we arrange tempting dinners, dance performances, kids' games, and adult fun activities. My brother and I had a wonderful experience at the party. He received many gifts and heartfelt wishes from relatives and friends. We are so grateful to everyone and the happy moments.

Sample 2:

Describe a party that you enjoyed.

  • What party did you attend recently?
  • Did you enjoy that party?
  • Where was the party held?
  • What was your favourite part of that party?

Every year, I enjoy Christmas celebrations, but I do not belong to the Christian religion. Last year, I attended the Christmas party at my friend Josephine's home. She and her family decorated their home beautifully, but my favourite part was Santa Claus and the Christmas tree.

She invited her relatives, neighbours, and friends. We celebrated the party on our apartment terrace. On December 25, 2023, Christmas Day, kids and our friends started to come to her house in the evening. From that moment, my excitement began; there was chilled air and white snow with the companionship of good people, which gave me enormous pleasure.

Everyone enjoyed the evening's unique starters and a new variety of sweets with different tastes. Kids were waiting for Santa Claus's arrival. He was a gigantic, big man wearing a red coat and hat with a white beard. Every kid was delighted to see him, and even I enjoyed his presence. He gave gifts and chocolates to children.

Every person also enjoys the Christmas holiday and celebrates the party, even if they are of a different culture and belief like me. After prayer, we had a memorable, delicious dinner. It's an unforgettable memory for me; after a long time, I enjoyed myself with a group of people on a special auspicious day and felt so blessed.

Sample 3:

Describe a party that you enjoyed.

  • Whose party did you recently enjoy the most?
  • Who are all attending the party?
  • Did the party have any activities?
  • Who was your favourite person at that party?

I recently enjoyed our undergraduate college farewell party, which was memorable and held on my college campus. We belonged to the computer science department and our juniors were all invited to that party. Our department HOD also joined us. Before we entered the party hall, our faculty and junior students made arrangements, like setting up all the decorations for capturing photos.

I was so surprised but also a little worried that I would miss my college days. That mixed feeling ran through my head. That spacious hall has a comfortable lounge, soft drinks, sandwiches and delicious snacks.

Further, first-year students organise fantastic dance performances. We had fun activities and games, such as musical chairs, charades, group order, and question mingle. Additionally, my department management gave gifts and awards to all senior students based on their personality, behaviour, and academic performance.

We were all dressed beautifully, and our appearance was incredible. We received gifts and awards from our faculties and college Dean. I received an exceptional award from my favourite faculty member, Mr. John Kennedy. No words can describe that special moment, and I get goosebumps whenever I recall the memory.

Finally, we enjoyed a tasty meal. After taking memorable photos, we shared hearty gestures with everyone.
