The person who has inspired me the most is my father. He has always been strong, independent and compassionate. While growing up, he never failed to teach me the essential qualities that later groomed me into a good person. Those qualities have helped shape my personality and given me support whenever I needed it the most.
My father, being a very straightforward and ethical man, has certain principles that he wanted me to develop from a very young age. He has always stressed the importance of being honest, polite and calm.
There are a lot of qualities that I have picked up from my father, mainly through his display of affection towards our family. I learned from him that patience, calmness, and courage can help a person get through bad times, and even if there is trouble, a person who holds onto his core values can get through and solve it.
Realising that my father had these ideal qualities, I was determined to shape myself into a person like him. Even though he has been there to lend a helping hand to guide me through, the pressure was immense.

Drawing inspiration from people can happen out of nowhere. One such personality that influenced a lot of changes in me was Chester Bennington. Chester was the lead singer of the band, Linkin Park. During his short life, he conquered the hearts of many music lovers. He was often described as an angel with a demonic voice.
Being an aspiring vocalist, his songs served as a guide for me. His contributions to the alternative rock scene were irreplaceable. Chester’s ability to switch genres rapidly, even in the middle of a song was widely respected.
I still remember the first time I listened to Faint, a song of his. It changed how I listened to music and opened a whole new world. Blending two different genres like pop and metal so brilliantly, was something I’d never heard before.
Even now, his songs feel very fresh with relatable lyrics and a distinct tone. The standout persona of Chester made me an ever-returning fan.

The former English football captain, Wayne Rooney has been a very big inspiration for me. He played a big part in tuning my aggression and confidence on the field. His charisma was unmatched during his golden days.
Entering the international football scene as a 17-year-old boy, Rooney had to compete with legends like Ronaldinho and Zidane. His professional career was filled with ups and downs, teaching me that everybody has to fall one day, but picking yourself back up is what sets you apart.
There is a lot to learn from him – especially his journey from an angry young lad, to the most respected footballer of a generation. It takes a lot for a person to accept their mistakes, and work on correcting them. The resilience he showed on and off the field was considered heroic.
Rooney is someone any aspiring football player can look up to.
