AS Human Services
The Human Services program parallels the first two years of four-year college and university programs in Human Services/Social Work. This enables graduates of the program to transfer at the junior level to some institutions and continue their studies, leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services or related areas. Human Services/Social Work professionals find employment with various types of social agencies including child protection agencies, senior citizen centers, agencies serving handicapped persons, family counseling centers, hospitals, schools and probation departments.
