A choice of pathways

We offer two MBA pathways to match your existing experience, current role and future plans. All give you a thorough grounding in strategic leadership, financial performance management, global operations, markets and resources, business research methods and data analysis.

• The MBA Global pathway helps you develop a broad-based, fully-rounded understanding and features key themes such as risk management and global supply chain management.
• The MBA Global Finance pathway enables you to explore issues such as international finance and mergers and acquisitions in greater detail.

Studies tailored to you

Block delivery is a new and convenient way to continue working as you study. It is particularly popular with professionals who find it difficult to get regular time away from the office as well as those who are based outside the UK. Taught elements of the programme entail three blocks of intensive two-week periods, all modules are delivered at our Derby campus.

The block delivery route is also ideal for our corporate clients where a group of students from the same organisation work towards the MBA and taught sessions are delivered at convenient venues in the UK or overseas.

You can also choose to study this MBA on a traditional full-time basis for one year or part-time for two years.

Accreditation

Our MBA Global and all specialist pathways are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). On successfully completing your programme, you will achieve the CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership alongside your MBA. It means you can apply to become a Chartered Manager, the highest status in the management profession.

You may be eligible for exemptions from up to three MBA modules – equivalent to 60 credits – if you already hold the CMI Level 7 Diploma or if you are a full member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
