They are also employed by government agencies in education, forensic investigation, mineral analysis, public health, research and development support for resource industries, technical and analytical information development, waste management, and water and air quality management.</p>

<p>Thompson Rivers University is located in Kamloops, British Columbia and was founded in 1970 as Cariboo College, operating out of the Kamloops Indian Residential School.
