MS Health Education
The Health Professions Education graduate programs at Hofstra University are designed to prepare clinicians and other health professionals who provide care to patients with an expanded role as a clinician educator for students, residents, externs, and fellows, and to advance in leadership roles in their fields. We abide by the standards set forth by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), which recognize the professionalization of the health discipline’s teaching component and the critical need for mentorship of future health professionals. Our Master of Science in Education (MSED) and Advanced Certificate programs are synchronous and fully online to help busy clinicians and other health professionals achieve their goals. Traditionally a three-year program, the MSED may be completed in a one-year or two-year accelerated format. Scholarships are available for qualified candidates.
